"Great Grandma, are you my friend?"

Calvin and Kadence enjoyed a visit from Great Grandma, Gramma, and Grampa today.  Calvin was oh-so-excited for his visitors, waking up at 5am and watching out the window for his guests to arrive.  He also made a quick phone call to Gramma on Friday night to ask if Great-Grandma is his friend.  What a sweet boy.  To say the least, it was a long morning of waiting, waiting, waiting!  It was worth the hours of watching the driveway as the afternoon was filled with so much fun.  Treats from Gramma, a visit from Auntie Kim and cousins Lucas and William, swimming in the big pool, and playing in the sandbox were the highlights of the day.
