Kadence's Belated First Birthday Party

We officially celebrated Kadence's first birthday this past weekend with 25 of our closest friends and family members.  The hostess was so jazzed up for the event that she decided to skip her naps, which didn't work out so hot and she crashed about 10 minutes before our guests arrived.  She did manage to wake up for a brief time and tried to enjoy pizza, cake and presents.  It definitely would have been appropriate to have the "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to" song playing in the background though ... the little miss was  tired, overwhelmed and not in the mood to share her cake!  Nevertheless, the rest of the group had a fun time and we enjoyed the belated celebration of our baby girl's first birthday.
