14 Months Old

Kadence is 14-months-old today!  She is becoming quite the toddler and has changed so much over the past month.  Here are the highlights of our baby K at this age:

- Talking more ... she's been caught saying "yah" and "all done."  She also loves to say "hi."
- Walking steadily, and she loves trying on shoes.
- Understanding simple commands like "clean up" (she'll put her toys away) and "do you want to eat" (she'll run to her highchair).
- Eating heartily, but still avoiding all meat and most vegetables.
- Sleeping well ... two 1-hour naps during the day and ~12 hours overnight.
- Enjoying bath time if Calvin joins her, but she continues to detest diaper changes.
- Acting silly ... she loves putting buckets on her head and will head-bang to music.
