Our Easter Tradition

We visited Thompson Park on Saturday morning for their annual Easter event.  The weather was less than spring-like so we wore many layers of clothing and all our winter gear.  Calvin and Kadence have definitely inherited their mama's fondness for animals and loved the petting zoo.  The goats, llamas, bunnies, turkeys and cows all received some love (and lots of food) from C and K.  After saying bye to all our animal friends, we hurried inside to warm up, listen to music, and watch a little magic show.  At the end of the event, Calvin's raffle ticket was drawn for a large Easter basket.  He was grinning from ear-to-ear when a motorcycle themed basket was handed over.  Luckily, Kadence was just as happy with the 6 candy filled eggs she received!
