Adelyn's Baptism

We were joined by family and friends to celebrate Adelyn's baptism last weekend on September 28th.  Pastor Jim was happy to meet Adelyn and delivered a special message about the importance of handing down faith to our children.  We may not be great about going to church every Sunday, but I do hope that Calvin, Kady and Addy grow up knowing that God loves them and that having faith will carry you through the good times and bad.

Adelyn is quite blessed to have Amy and Jason Ledermann as her Godparents.  I am quite certain that she will have a special relationship with their family.  Eric and I look up to their parenting style, the values they instill in their own children, and their very kind hearts.  We were fortunate to meet the Ledermann family when looking for daycare for Calvin almost five years ago.  Calvin and Kady probably spent more time in their home than our own … and oftentimes seemed to prefer going to Amy's house!  Addy won't have that same privilege of spending her days with Amy, but we will definitely visit often and make every effort to stay connected for the years to come.
