Kadence is 20 Months Old

These days, it's clear that Kadence acts much more like a 2 yr old than a 1 yr old.  Our Kads is a happy-go-lucky, independent, and funny little girl.  She loves dancing (spinning in circles) while giggling uncontrollably.  She mimics Calvin's "work" outside and keeps herself busy with sandbox tools and trucks.  She has about one complete meltdown daily, which makes me think the terrible twos are on their way.  Kadence eats great one day, but nearly nothing the next.  Her vocabulary is exploding and she'll attempt to say just about anything.  "Help me" and "juice please" are phrases we hear numerous times each day.  Kadence has quite an artistic side, and fetches the art box out of the pantry every chance she gets.  She has discovered the joys (and apparently yummy taste) of glue and paint.  Kadence loves to brush her tooth; although, I think there's more toothpaste-eating than actual brushing going on.  She no longer gives people the stink-eye and may even flash a smile to a deserving observer.  Kadence goes down for naps and overnight sleep without a peep, but has been waking us at the crack of dawn the last couple weeks.  Calvin and Kadence are either the best of friends of worst of enemies.  Laughter turns into tears at the drop of a hat (and vice versa).

Kadence is growing up so fast, but I love to see her budding personality.  I keep thinking that she's at the perfect age, and then the next month brings even more fun and exciting things.  Words can't express the love I have for my little girl.
