Two and seven months

Kadence is quite the character at 2-1/2 years.  She's constantly jabbering, always looking for someone to take her on a stroll, is fairly even-tempered and easy to please, and simply a joy to be around.  It won't be long and Kads will be 3 ... it's bittersweet how fast the years go by.

Here's the update on our little one:

• Although she doesn't mind getting her hands dirty and playing rough, Kadence loves to wear dresses, wear pretty shoes, and have her hair pulled back in a pony.
• Kadence continues with her vegetarian diet and tells me her favorite foods are yogurt and cheese.   
• Favorite color(s): pink and purple
• The sleep situation: Kadence continues to sleep in her sleeping bag on our bedroom floor.  We don't fight her because she sleeps soundly from 8pm to 6/7am.  Naptime is usually a bit rougher and either requires us to go for a walk in the stroller or rock in the chair together.
• Favorite tv shows: The Wheels on the Bus, Caillou, Trotro and Strawberry Shortcake
• Favorite snack: It's a toss-up between marshmallows and chocolate chips
• Favorite thing to do with Mom: paint and play in the sandbox
• Favorite thing to do with Dad: go for walks, and have tea parties
• Favorite thing to do with Calvin: swing (and fight over the swings)
• The best thing about Kadence at this age: It's hard to narrow it down, but I love listening to her talk and tell stories.  Her vocabulary amazes me!
