We had a quick birthday celebration for Calvin tonight before heading out the door for soccer. Calvin was as eager as ever to rip into more presents, but (as we all do) felt a little blue when the opening was done. Nothing that a little Dairy Queen can't fix though!
It's hard to believe that we now have a 5 year old! I know this year will be great for Calvin, with many new experiences and challenges. It's amazing how fast kids grow up; I'm trying so hard to remember every detail about how Calvin (& Kadence) are today, because I know tomorrow they will be a little bigger, smarter, faster, and more independent. These little people are constantly evolving ... it's impossible to keep with them!
We love you, Calvin, and hope you LOVE being five!
